I need to know if dyslexia may also be trauma-based..8 years ago my son was abducted by his father. I have never again seen the boy whom he was and 6 years after his return, he was finally been recognised as being dyslexic.

He had no learning difficulty before he was taken, was bright and energetic. He now presents as the antithesis of this child.

I had moved him through many schools before he was recognised, as he was constantly being beaten up by his peers and belittled by his teachers.

While he realises he will need academic qualification to advance his life, every day seems hell for him, the ridicule never stops.

Is there such thing as a school for right-brainers?
